There are 20 Day Signs in Mayan Astrology. It should be possible to create an accurate personality profile of an individual simply by calculating their Mayan Day Sign. In this investigation a professional Mayan Astrologer will provide us with two personality profiles for each participant.
- One will be based on the participant's Day sign
- One will be based on a randomly selected sign
We will send one personality profile to each participant who will be asked to gauge the accuracy of their profile against a standard scale. Once we have received their results, participants will be told which personality profile they were given and those people given the randomly selected profiles will be sent their actual personality profile based on their Mayan Day Sign. Results will be published on our website.
How the Mayan Astrology investigation will work
Step 1: Participants send us their date of birth.
To calculate your Day sign our astrologer needs your date of birth. Important! He does not need your name or any other information. If possible, you could create a free yahoo or hotmail account to send in your date of birth. We will never ask for any identifying information. You will remain completely anonymous.
Step 2: Astrologer creates personality profiles
The Astrologer will create two personality profiles, one based on your Day sign and one based on a randomly selected sign. Both profiles are sent to us.
Step 3: We send each participant a personality profile & accuracy scale
We send a personality profile to each participant along with an accuracy scale which is completed and returned to us. Step 4: We calculate the accuracy of the personality profiles
Once we have the results back from the participants we will then calculate how accurate the personality profiles were. Participants will then be told whether the profile they received was based on their Mayan Day sign or from a randomly selected Day sign. All participants who received profiles based on random Day signs will be sent personality profiles based on their actual Day sign.
Step 5: Results are posted on the website
At the end of the investigation the results will be posted on this website. This information will be available free for anyone who wishes to use it (as long as they state the source). No personal information will be posted and no record of email addresses will be kept after the end of the investigation.
